Using the Ezeplan Estimating powered by Planswift software is simple.
Specially designed tools for steel fabrication estimating enables quick and easy recording of steel member sections from plans on screen, with accurate lengths recorded into spreadsheets with the click of your mouse.
Digital PDF drawings stored on a computer are uploaded and configured to suit any size of scaled dimensions, which allow to uniformly correlate all the components by using your mouse to measure & highlight the steel members, purlins, plates, attached connections, H D bolts etc.
If standard scales don’t work to suit the Architectural dimensions, the scale can be manually configured and all dimensions are proportionate to the designated scale.
We now have a product which enables steel quantities to be taken directly from a PDF drawing on your computer screen. It's easy to Pan, Scroll & Zoom with a mouse.
The Planswift package eliminates the requirement of printing and working from full size drawings
Planswift allows the user to take-off all the quantities on screen using a mouse.
It can also be used just as a means of scaling a drawing, measuring the plan and items on screen for manual recording of quantities just like using a scale rule….
